Section Clubs – Your local amateur radio connection

ARRL WEST CENTRAL FLORIDA SECTION AFFILIATED CLUBS COORDINATOR – Jeff Bronsing KJ4NEO

LOCAL CLUBS – YOUR PLACE FOR CAMARADERIE AND SUPPORT

Clubs are one of the most important parts in amateur radio.  Clubs provide amateurs a place to get together (whether it is at a club meeting, a picnic,  a hamfest or on the air nets.)  The ARRL West Central Florida (WCF) Section has over twenty amateur radio clubs affiliated with the ARRL.
The Affiliated Club Coordinator (ACC) is responsible for working with clubs that are ARRL affiliated clubs to help meet their needs and acting as liaison between the clubs and the section.   The ACC also works with new amateur radio clubs or currently non affiliated amateur radio clubs in becoming affiliated with the ARRL.

Please keep the ACC of your club activities on a regular basis.

RENEWING YOUR AFFILIATION

Once a club is affiliated it is always affiliated.  However a club may be listed as active or inactive.  In order to remain on the active affiliated club roster, clubs must update their information with ARRL Headquarters annually.

If two years pass without an update then the club will be moved to inactive status.  You can renew your ARRL Affiliated Club status on the ARRL website.
