FRIDAY AFTERNOON SEMINAR
INTRODUCTION TO PYTHON

TIME:  Installation of Software and Preparation:  12:00 P.M. – 12:45 P.M.

           Seminar:  1:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.

PLACE:  Hillsborough County EOC

TALKIN:  146.940 MHz NI4M/R – PL 146.2 Hz.

This facility is being provided courtesy of Hillsborough County Emergency Management.

 

Instructions to prepare for the Friday Afternoon Seminar:

(1) Go to the Python website:  https://www.python.org/downloads/

(2) For installation on a Windows:  Select the “Download Python 3.7.2” big button.  This will initiate the download  For other versions (Linux, Mac, etc.) look at the lists below the download button.

(3) If you feel uncomfortable installing Python yourself, please download the .exe file to your computer and bring your computer to the seminar for help with installing the Python environment between 1200 and 1300 so you will be ready to start at 1300.

(4) For those doing their own installation of Python:  Go to the directory where you downloaded the .exe file.  Execute that file.  Follow the instructions in the .exe file.  Follow the instructions and choose the options you wish to have in your installation.

Be sure to bring your laptop computer as this will be a hands on seminar.

This is simply a social dinner for anyone who wants to show up and talk technology.
Family and friends are also invited to come as well.

Conference Opening – 8:45 A.M., and Presentations begin – 9:00 A.M.
