DESCRIPTION:The BARC Club will be holding the 2nd Annual Radio in the Park at Lake Manatee State Park on Saturday April 23\, 2016\, starting around 9am.  Bring your rigs and have some fun. It does cost 4 dollars a car at the gate or 5 dollars for up to 8 persons in a car. The club will bring some food but it would be great if you could bring a covered dish\,paper plates\, and plastic items. DESCRIPTION:Hillsborough County ARES / RACES will have a table and doing a forum at this Makers Faire. \nThis event is a gathering of people that like to make things themselves\, rather than buy everything.  They have everything from low tech clothing to high tech electronics.  Hillsborough County ARES/RACES will be there with an outside booth showing the capabilities of Amateur Radio Communications.  In addition\, we will have an opportunity to host an hour long forum on Emergency Communications for the attendees.  We will be needing volunteers to man the booth for the day as well as people to assist with the Emergency Communications Forum.  Interested amateurs should contact Jon KJ4NYD via email at kj4nyd@gmail.com
